Solicitors Rally Against Legal Aid Cuts

Gray&Co
Following government plans to cut legal aid as part of their reforms to welfare provision hundreds of campaigners and solicitors have come together to show resistance to the cuts.
The Criminal Law Society Association (CLSA) recently rallied against the cuts, inviting several speakers to take to the podium and speak their case for the preservation of legal aid for those who require it.
At Gray & Co Solicitors, we believe that the preservation of legal aid is critical; everyone should have the right to professional legal representation. With surveys showing that 89% of people believe that legal aid should be a right as opposed to a privilege, we feel strongly that the vast majority in the UK shares our values.
This short video gives a brief overview of the event, as well as a look into the views of some of the speakers and attendees who were present.
