Selina first came to Gray & Co in 2016 as a student for work experience. Later that year she was engaged by the firm to assist the team with a high-profile murder trial. We were so impressed with her dedication and enthusiasm that after she graduated, she was offered a training contract with the firm. Selina completed her training contract with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in April 2023.
Selina has an engaging manner with our clients and enjoys attending at the police station where she is always ready to challenge the police. She has a keen interest in assisting clients with mental health issues to ensure that they are fully aware of their situation and that they receive the appropriate care and attention required in stressful circumstances. Selina also assists with the preparation of cases for trial in the Magistrates court.
Notable Cases
R v L – HERITAGE CRIME
An unusual case requiring detailed legal and geographical research. Our client was one of a group of people found to have recovered items from the grounds of Beeston castle. This was a lengthy investigation by Cheshire Police, Historic England and South Yorkshire Police.
