R (Iqbal) v The Crown Court at Canterbury
The Claimant was released under investigation for some two years before being charged by way of postal requisition. He attended the magistrates’ court and was remanded in custody. He challenged that remand at the crown court and the judge maintained the decision to remand. The Claimant contended that decision was irrational.
